Tastings all along the Waterfront, 12:00-2:45
People's Choice Award voting to begin at 12:00 and ends at 2:30
Award presentation at 2:45
Music will be provided by the talented local band, Ask Fester.
Wines may be purchased throughout the day at Coastal Cantina, at a discounted rate. Coastal Cantina is donating $1 per bottle sold to the charitable beneficiaries.
NEW for 2012:
Duck’s Cottage has teamed up with the Currituck-Dare Community Foundation to have several local authors available to sign their books and to purchase at a special price. Authors include:
- Steve Alterman, photographer of several books highlighting the Outer Banks and his passion for photography
- Travis Morris, author of several local historic books highlighting Currituck life as a hunting/fishing guide, and native of Currituck County
- Sarah Downing, author of several books about early Nags Head
Shop the shops at the Duck Waterfront Shops, many will be offering special discounts for ticket holders this weekend.
Fin & Claw took 2nd place in the Best Dish category at the 2011 Duck & Wine Festival.
Blue Point won 1st place in the Best Dish category at the 2011 Duck & Wine Festival.
